Ever since I was a child I have always thought that there was a ghost in our house. I would be up late at night because sleep evaded me and I would think there was someone watching me or following me.
As a child I had to sleep with my door open and that didn't help as I would hear noises and the floor creaking as if someone was walking down the hall. I would sometimes leave my room and see if someone was up, but as I peak into the rooms everyone was asleep.
I threaten to leave so they got a horseshoe put up above the door to my room. I still have the feeling that someone is still here though. During the summer when school is out I don't go to bed until late and every time I leave my room I have to cut on lights because I feel a presence.

Until this day I still feel the same way. Just recently my mom told me that one night she woke up and saw someone standing in her room. She told me she thought it was me because the person was my height, but she said after a little while that person disappeared.

I don't think that the presence of this person is harmful but the only place at night or when I am alone where as I feel safe is behind my bedroom door. But after hearing what my mom said... I can't be too sure.
