Years ago when the old mansion was still there a bunch of us boys were plundering through it. A room upstairs was locked, and we couldn't get the door open from the outside. On the stairs there was a window that was over a roof, so we went out it to a window that went into the locked room. I opened this window, went into the room, and opened the door. No problem at all. But we could not open from the outside, and we did hear footsteps and

voices in the room. We figured it was some other kids playing tricks, but we never did see anyone, and we did keep look out to see who came out of that

room.

My grandparents owned the waste water treatment center near the old mill. I used to see people all the time, but you take a second glance, and they are gone.
