The year was 1968. I lived in a house on Amelia Street in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Without a doubt this place was haunted. I have many experiences in the house. It has since been torn down, and I believe the bank stands there now, but I think about it to this day.

I used to live in Southland apartment in Orangeburg before they torn it down. At first I thought the apartment was good for me and my children. This event took place in late 2005. I woke up one morning just to get my kids up for school and something told me to go in my living room. When I got there, my front door was wide open. Mind you, I always checked my door before I went to bed. I had two locks on my door, and my sofa was in front of the door. I asked my kids if they opened the door. They told me no, so I brushed t off until later on that day.

Around 11:00 p.m. my daughter and I were wide awake, and my boys were in the room sleep. We saw a white shadow of a girl came out the living room. She went straight to the bathroom and disappeared. We got up and looked around the corner in the living room, and my door was wide open, so I closed it and went in the bathroom where she disappeared in the shower. Nobody was there.

Later we heard someone crawling on the top of the apartment. This was where I got scared and next day I just packed me and my kids up and moved. I learned later that a young lady had died in my apartment, and her body was found in the living room by her kids.
I moved to another street, but Omg I thought everything would be OK, but it wasn't. I was alone while my kids were in school, and I heard water and what sounded like a little girl playing in the bathtub. I got up and checked, but no one was there, so I went back in my room. twenty minutes later I heard my daughter's TV in her room on, so I went to turn it off. I walked away, and it turned back on so. In my mind I said ''not again,'' so I went back in my room and closed the door.
I lay down and heard two voices in the corner of my room. I thought that they were some people outside, but I looked out the window, and there was nobody. Then around 3 p.m. that same day I got up and got dress to go get my kids. I went in my living room, and my door was wide open, and all of my kitchen cabinets were open. That was it. I was done. Did I ever find out the history of this apartment? No, I didn't, but I had no more experience until 2010 when my grandmother died in her house, and all I heard was her footsteps.
