and were ridiculed for fools when they told their employer the reason for leaving the job.
However, I believe their story to be true. I have camped near this portion of the river. I have heard the screams at night, and they are of a woman deep in the swamp. Do not fool yourself by saying ''I hear a bobcat or other animal. '' As I stated earlier, I have lived in this place most of my life, have hunted, and camped. I know nature's sounds very well,

Comment by Sara: I grew up in the Edmund community just off of Redmond Rd about 2mls from what used to be Falcons Pond. I vaguely remember my pawpaw talking about this along with a whole salut of other phenomena stories. Some people laughed at him and pretty much called him crazy. But I for one never thought that about him because he wasn't the only one telling the stories. To this day almost 20 years later I still hear stories in passing. I'm still at times amazed at the rich history we have when it comes to the phenomenon.

I live in a home built by my father on Crystal Springs Dr. in Pelion SC. He has passed but there have always been dark shadows in the home. Since his passing I moved in to care for my mother. There are many strange sounds and she sees a little girl by her bed often.
