On White Street there used to be a house where a gruesome murder suicide had occurred in the 1940s. That house was torn down, and the site is now a driveway beside the Domino's location. Anytime there have been ghost investigations at that general site cold spots occur. At night orbs are seen, and no doubt EVPs could be captured if you're patient and had the right equipment. I've been there at night in the late 1990s, and it felt like there was a static electrical charge in the air but only there in the driveway.
Across the railroad tracks from there on Standard Street is a home, presently occupied. I won't give the house number. It is a home where in the late 1970s strange things such as unexplained noises and a general feeling of unease were present in a back bedroom. The sounds had a strange echo-like quality and came from one particular wall. There had been a death there in the 1960s in that room and maybe that entity just didn't want to move. I hope things have been more peaceful since.
