Wellford used to be called Wellington named after the founder of the town Mr. Wellington. Well they changed the name to Wellford and this angered Mr. Wellington so much that he literally came back from the dead and started haunting the town.
The town has been plagued by bad luck ever since. The ghost of Mr. Wellington will not rest until the name is changed back. I don't blame him, how would you feel if you started something and named it after yourself
