In the years of 1978-1980 my family (Dad, Mom, five sisters, and one brother) and I lived in a brick house on Main Street directly across the street from a hardware store. Beatrice, Bryson and Lois lived to our right and an old widow lived to our left; I never did know her name. She scared us. Beside her was a small gas station with a concrete ramp in near the rear. Another family lived to the left of the hardware store, maybe it was an auto part store.

We were so poor; we never went there.
The brick house was one story with arches on the side porch and a chimney on the front of the house to the

left of the door. At the time there was a garage in the back and a cement goldfish pond to the left in the back yard. As you entered through the front door, you entered the living room. To the right was the dining room, and past that to the back was the kitchen. Directly across the kitchen was a hallway with a bedroom. Going down the hall was a closet to the left and an alcove to the right before a bedroom in the right back corner. Take a left around
