I was living in a condo on Piedmont Avenue. The stairwell would have heavy footsteps, sometimes starting at the bottom stair, and each stair going up would crunch one by one. Sometimes it would start with the top stair, and one by one the crunching step on each stair. It was exactly the same sound the stairs make when being stepped on. The stairwell was the only place it would happen.
Everyone in the house noticed them at some time or another.

I witnessed it at least five or six times, but everyone had mentioned it. My sister, my mother, and my best friend that came to visit, everyone. Every

stair in chronological order. The sound of someone heavier footed than me even. Someone said it was probably the heater that caused them to pop one by one, but this was no pops from wood. It was heavy weight going both up and down the stairs.

When I was in middle school I had a few friends over to my home one day, and one friend had bought their Ouija board over. We went in to the basement, turned all the lights off, and lit candles. We started asking questions. Of course we all thought that someone was pushing the pointer. When we all lifted our fingers off it kept moving on its own. We jumped up and turned the lights on, and they took the board home.
