Al said, ''OK y'all, did anyone else see what I just saw?'' I said ''did you see that too?'' Al said ''yep and what the hell was that?'' The guys in the back seat were busy talking and never saw it but me and Al witnessed this ghost.

Fort Pickett, VA is a beautiful post, but there is definitely some ghostly activity going on. I am currently staying in one of the older buildings on post, and I have had some contact in just the two nights that I slept here. Just to be clear, I am not talking about just bumps and creaks in the night (as would be expected in these older buildings).

The first night I slept here I had trouble falling asleep because of the sounds made by my dead roommate. It sounded like it was banging on the walls really hard. He was turning electronic things off and on (the heater and the printer), and I think that I even saw him once or twice (that I cannot say for certain; the dark plays tricks on your eyes).

Last night while I slept here it didn't bang on the wall or anything. It opened and closed some doors and, while I was asleep, moved a few chairs around. It has been a little unsettling, but what am I going to do? I guess we just have to get over it and be cool with each other.

Ft. Pickett, VA, next to Blackstone, VA building on W. 10th Street is definitely haunted. Knocking on doors where there is no one around, footsteps, doors opening repeatedly, physical contact from ghost, items moving etc..
