We moved into a 200-year-old home. Shortly after my husband and I were sleeping suddenly we were both awakened by the sound of a China plate crashing to the floor. We have multiple cats, so assumed they had knocked it over. We got up and never found anything. Later I was away, and while gone my oldest daughter got up to get a drink of water, and she woke her dad and asked why great grandma was sitting at the kitchen table. His reply was ''I don't know

but just climb into bed with me. ''
Later our neighbor had pictures of our house and surrounding homes which were owned by relatives. One page
|
showed the pictures of the women in the family. There were at least 8 different women on the page. My daughter suddenly piped up that one of the ladies in the pictures was the lady that was sitting at our table. Out of the 8 women she picked the only one who lived in our house. The children's battery operated toys would turn on. Another daughter was missing her favorite shoes, and after searching the entire house they were in the center of the kitchen.
