While living in a beautiful plantation house in Bremo it was over 200 years old the first night I stayed there with my husband he left for work and I was going to sleep in. As soon as he left I heard people walking in the house.
I looked around and there was no one there. I of course put my head under the covers and tried to go back to sleep, just then it sounded like 20 people were walking through my house. I got up and left in the middle of

December in boxers and a tank top.
After we had my son we would hear people talking in the baby monitor and one memorable occasion I had folded my

sheets for my bed and put them on the guest bed at the bottom of our stairs to take up with me when I went.
I went to grab them later and they were gone, I looked in the dryer and went upstairs to make sure I hadn't taken them and forgot no dice I went back to the guest bed and torn the bedding off to see if when I made that one I hadn't just put them in nothing there either.
