I was traveling on Route One through Doswell, Virginia, and a deer hit the car I was riding in. Then all of a sudden I saw a ghost. I saw a white silhouette. It was of a man's figure crossing Route One in Doswell. At that point I knew it was a ghost. I wondered who it was. I googled ghost in Virginia and found out that that city is named after Captain Doswell who had died. I was shocked to have learned this information. I always heard stories about Doswell,

House built late 1890's off Verdon road. Lived there over 4 years. Built on old Civil War battlegrounds. People would want to come and relic hunt all the time. At least 2 suicides on property another death in that family just down the road.
