I work at night in Merrifield. My co-worker and I went to the McDonald's on Gallows Road around 2 am. It was packed, so we left to go to the one on 7 heading towards Tyson Corner, we both saw a tall figure crossing Gallows Road west to east just before the Arby's.
I saw it first as I was the driver. It was moving so fast. I thought it was a deer based on size and speed, but I saw two legs! I couldn't reconcile what I was seeing at first, so I said nothing. As it crossed directly in front of my car, it turned to us. We were about 35 feet from it. It has greenish red eyes had to be 7 feet or better tall and thick but not wide. My co-worker screamed, ''You see that?'' I sped up because it ran faster towards the open parking lot.

By the time we reached the Arby's and parking lot, it was gone. There was nothing to hide it the lot was clear. There is an animal hospital and BMW dealership nearby. Every so often you hear the animals go crazy or something trips the dealership security message saying, ''You're on camera, etc,'' at that same time most nights or early mornings.

I grew up on Lee Park CT, and my house was definitely haunted. I am still bothered by it today. I would wake at night and see several dark figures in my room at times. I would be awakened at night by something pushing under my mattress, and it always called my name out but only when I was in the basement. I could never have a pet because animals were spooked to come in for long. The worst part is they would walk slowly down the hall. Then it would literally act like they were going crazy in my bedroom. Very creepy. This went on the entire time lived there!! More happened, but I think I would be writing a book lol.
