20 e main st Fincastle VA. I resided in this house in the early eighties and several people witnessed the sounds of footsteps coming up the stairs. On several other occasions you could hear faint whispering and on another occasion a bird flew down from the attic and then flew back up again only the attic door was shut and locked and upon further investigation there was no bird to be found anywhere in the house.
