As a child I lived a few years in a home on Sherwood Avenue in Front Royal, Virginia. The brick house on the hill known simply as Oakley. So many spirits are haunting this place. If you've never seen it, you could only imagine.

I live in an apartment in the town of Front Royal, Virginia. Several years ago I began hearing peculiar noises at different times during the day. At first it was just the sound of soft tapping as if a small hammer was hitting against a hard surface. It wasn't too long after this that I began hearing what I can only describe as the sound of metal cans sliding around the inside of my kitchen cabinets. I have also occasionally seen out of the corner of my eye a shadowy object moving very quickly across the room. I remain a skeptic when it comes to things pertaining to the paranormal, and to be honest none of this has ever frightened or alarmed me. I also seem to have an unusual feeling that whatever is happening is something benevolent or harmless.

My mom's house on Rivermont Drive is haunted. I have been terrified there ever since I was a child. My daughter and granddaughter have both said they see ''a man'' in the house. The animals act strange and there is a feeling of dread when in the house at times.
I have since overcome whatever is haunting the house but none the less there is something definitely there.
