I remember the ghost of the Confederate soldier we saw that night. I am dustin's mom and my daughter and I was on the bottom bunk. My husband at that time worked 2nd shift and didn't get home until the wee hours of the morning.
I heard Dustin say mom I opened my eyes and could not believe what I saw. There beside the bed a soldier in a Confederate uniform was staring out the window. You could only see his torso up as his legs were not visible.

ghost slowly started turning to face the bed being eye level with Dustin and then vanished. I was too scared to get out of bed but got no sleep the rest

of the night.

I've lived in Glade Spring all my life. When I was in the fifth grade I was asleep on the top bunk of my bed. My mom and then five year old sister were in the bottom bed. I can't remember what time it was, but I just woke up all of a sudden.
There beside me looking out the window was a ghost in a Confederate uniform. At first I wasn't affraid, ijust stared at it for around twenty seconds or so. Everyone else was still asleep, so I started trying to wake my mom up by calling her name.
