I live just off Greenwood road where it meets Woodman before the 295 exit. In high school I used to run from my house down Woodman towards Mountain Road. For those who did not hear of the gateway that makrewn Indians established there well here it is. lady at the front desk. Look at the Makrewn tribe of Henrico. If you did not hear the county was named after a tribe of Indians. Anywho the Makrewn

were a tribe that 65 years before the first settlements ever took place in what was native America Jamestown, Richmond etc.
They were joined with other tribes to make pretty much everybody under one banner sort of thing. Before this they were a more radical religious group. The only reason why there are still records of the tribe is due to the heavy influence with their more spiritual beliefs in the dead. Spirits of ancestors were one thing. Not
