We lived in an old house on Dogtown road. It was old. Used to be a tobacco farm and had the first school house in the county. I never saw her but my husband did there's an old lady in dark clothing that would walk on one side of the house.
We had unexplained noises electric equipment that automatically came on. My grandmother actually saw her as well. She wasn't malicious though. The biggest confirmation that we weren't crazy? The prior tenant came to

pick up some items and my husband asked if he could ask him something without the guy thinking he's crazy the old tenant said ''oh you've seen her too''
|
and they compared notes.
We never met this man before and certainly didn't prompt him. It was confirmation enough for a non believer like me.
