There's no one alive today that remembers a time before Banister Lake and there are no records about the horrific events that took place by the river before it was dammed and the Riverbanks were flooded by the lake.
The infamous hauntings of the lake are a direct result of the events that took place there. A family was brutally murdered for their possessions and the whole family has been haunting the area ever since.
They usually show up all together

and cause all sorts of problems but sometimes they show up alone. The mother is the worst. She has caused deaths. If you see her you're a goner.
