There is a house on Twiggs ferry road right beside my grandparents that is known as Wilton plantation. This house is famous in several ways... First of all it was Winston Churchill's River home. On the property even is a slave house where the servants would live when they weren't working... Also a slave graveyard. Not to mention the other graveyard right beneigth the cornfield in front of the house. Apperantly there was one soldier who was shot

and another who was hanged by the stairwell upstairs in the 3 story house and they're spirit still resedes there today. Submitted by Anonymous

Comment by anonymous: Re-read the history. It was not built by Winston Churchill (who was the prime minister of England during World War II) but by William Churchill of Virginia in 1763.
