Comment by Sara: Mineral and Trevilians Battlefield aren’t that close. Where was it?.

There's always a sighting of a person who runs across Oakland Rd in Louisa County, VA and some of my family has seen this soldier run across the railroad tracks and the road. Then vanishes in thin air. Sometimes some people think that's why the gates act up.

Trevilians Station is right down the road. I myself has never seen it but other family and friends have. Submitted by anonymous
Comment by Ronnette: I used to live on Hickory Creek Road. I was raised in Louisa. I used to see that ghost too. I worked in Charlottesville and would get off from work from MJH about midnight and when coming home I would see someone running in the road too.

Just recently this town was the epicenter of a tremor which shook most of the Eastern coast. Knowing that it sits surrounded by coal mines and the souls of coal miners are begging to find their eternity even those fallen soldiers of the state's wars of the past. Submitted by Anonymous
