Each one of them experienced a gray haired man donning a gray uniform looking through the window at them. Sometimes they would wake up my then husband and myself. And they were around the same age, 9-12 years old when the instances occurred.
They are all now adults and will never forget ''the little gray man''.

I had written and told my story about what I had experienced at sister and brother-in-law's home. I wrote twice to explain what I think that I had experienced there. A month or so later I found out that Tom hurt his leg. I assumed it was in their new place. It was in the house where they lived in Manassas. A day or two after we had left to go home in Texas Tom was doing all finishing up and moving a couple of small things to his car, and on the way in the house going up a two step entranceway that he had gone up and down millions of times. One of the last times he said he must have stepped wrong and fell. He was really hurting his knee very bad. He thought and said that it felt like he had stepped on something. He says that he is still healing slowly. Strange isn't it what a remembrance? That was the last thing that I know that happened.

Comment by Joseph: I just want to say that the other two stories that I had wrote by me were about the same brother-in-law and sister-in-law and there home for the last twenty or twenty-five years in the heart of Centreville just down the road from the hospital, and the battle field and just want to say that it's not that the homes or houses are just haunted they are because it's the land that is haunted. The homes were built where they were killed and died, most likely by Civil War battles or killing in the area by the Confederate and the Yankee armies random killing, and believe me that that went on too.
I have heard that the Manassas Mall is haunted. A few people who have worked at one of the stores there (won't mention company since I'm currently employed with them) they only hear boxes and stuff being slammed on the ground in the stock room.
