When I was a little girl around 1978 we lived in a corner large home 38th Street and Newport ave. I was outside in drive way with my step father as he worked on his car. A faceless woman in a green dress ran past us and into the house through the back door.
My dad and I ran after her into the house and was stopped by my mom who said a lady just ran up the stairs. My mom, dad, myself, and 5 brothers and sisters looked in every room closet under beds bathroom and in the attic...

The lady with the green dress was nowhere to be found.

I knew that there was something in my 75 year old house. I knew there was a ghost. I slowly walked into my parents room. 'who are you? ' I asked. It sounds silly, it looked like I was talking to air. 'what do you want? ' I asked.
I waited. Soon I heard a whisper. I could not make out the words but it had to be an answer. 'what? ' I asked. I heard the same whisper. Getting scared I ran out of the room. A ghost had just talked to me! Freaky!.
