I was hunting spring lizards one night in Parrott for smallmouth bass fish bait. As I was shining my light on some wet rocks in a small drain in a hollow, I saw what some locals called the ghost of Mike Tabor. He was wearing a vest of some sort and had a fishing rod in one hand and was holding a minnow bucket in the other.
I thought it was a real person till it turned into a mist and then vanished. Mike drowned in New River nearby while smallmouth bass fishing

with spring lizards. They say anytime you hunt for spring lizards near Parrott, you might get a visit from Mike.
