Comment by Marge: One friend of ours told us she saw a whole wagon full of soldiers cross Academy Rd on a foggy day. They seemed to be looking at her as they crossed the road!.

My ex and I moved into a 4-room house in Powhatan near the Food Lion. I think it was a Food Lion and down the road from Sheets. Anyway wow this house was definitely haunted. I never knew a spirit could be so real in this world. On my 21st birthday my ex and I were in the, and we both saw glowing lights behind the house in the woods. We heard knocks in the ceiling as if there was another person at times in there. The house had goats before apparently, and there were creepy swastikas on the kitchen floor. It was an old creepy house with red deck and red shutters. Red painted on everything. We moved out shortly after we both found the house to be haunted. Weird stuff moved in piles, and even clothes folded on their own. We left. The house definitely was cheap for what it was, but we learned why fast. I would like to know the history of the home, but not sure if I ever really will.

I lived in a house near the road to Watkins Landing. Several times my television would turn off, one time in front of company. The TV thing happened several times while I was pregnant but never before or after. It wasn't until after I delivered my daughter did I sense that there was a malevolent male entity living there. He used to terrorize my infant / toddler daughter. I did cleansings, blessings, screaming, and praying. I am certain that my grandmother's spirit protected us.
