I work at the Burger King off I-81 up past the sheep evaluation center, and of course the McCormick's farm. Well, day shift and night shift are two different things. During the day, things are quicker. We move faster. There are more vehicles, so it's only natural for the wind to knock things over or blow open the drive through window. But night shift, when we're all standing around, things are different. The latch on the window will fall, but it's a loose bolt.

The window will open or shut. Lids will fly off the top of the pop machine or from the smoothie bar.

on top of the pop machine, and when that thing goes flying you know something has pushed it. I've been sitting in the dining room on break and have seen a little girl in a little white sun dress go running through. I've seen an old man sit in our lobby but never move. People say our dining room is cold, and we tell them it's just the air conditioner. However, as soon as you walk through that door there is an obvious temperature change. There are things
