we left. We went back the next day and heard all the screams that we heard the first time and were a lot more scared than the first night.
We went toward the stairs leading down to the basement and I was way in front of the others. I was heading down alone and then I heard something at the bottom of the stairs that was too loud and quick to be a rat or anything normal.
At that moment I lost all composure and all but tripped my way back up

the stairs. When the others saw me all freaked out (which is very unusual) they freaked too and we left. We haven't been back there since.
