have more tangible evidence of it's existence I am skepticle especially when the tale comes from young people who can't seem to produce an actual victim or the location of this paranormal oddity.

Comment by Katelyn: It is a waste of time going to Vinton for 7 gates of hell. I've been to real one on Bandymill Road. The gates are no longer there except the 7th the new owner of house explained he got other gates removed because he got sick of trespassers. There's no guy with a gun. He has a dog, and now cops sit there all October to make people turn away. Yes, there was a house where horrible things happened, but it burnt down, so stop putting stuff out having these kids drive out to nowhere for nothing. The woods are haunted, but unless you want trespassing charges in the end, it's not worth the drive. The Gates is what makes the experience creepy, and it's only at certain hours anything really happens. I'm posting this to save you time and gas. You want a real haunting try again because this one is sadly a no go now.

Does anyone know about the lady in black near 9th St. Se and the base of mill mountain? In 1999 a friend and myself saw her and she basically looked like a lady in a burka. The weird part was that she both appeared and disappeared before our eyes.
We saw her exactly at midnight and were just past the iga grocery in se heading towards downtown. I have heard mentions of her but nothing concerning lore. Anyone know anything about her/it?.

Comment by Trent: I saw this around 1997. It was midnight and I was also in a car. I have heard from people that live on the riverside of the street that she has been in their houses. I avoid that street at night ever since.
