Have a question about the mansard square apartment off Washington ave. And pine St. I was wondering if there had been any incidents that have occurred there or in the immediate vicinity. My partner and I moved in there at the beginning of March. Since moving in we notice over the past few weeks a few odd happenings. We live on the 3rd floor in the very backside of one of their buildings. We have an alarm clock that has been unplugged for a few weeks now and even when we had it plugged in no alarm was generally set it would go off right around 7:30 am. This happened as it was and was not plugged in. We removed the backup battery as well. Also we had our smoke detector in our hallway going off about the same time as the alarm. Now for about the last week there has been a drop of activity with these two items. The prior incidents had been witnessed by my husband and his best friend who was visiting us for about 2 weeks. This morning 5 / 30/2010.

I was leaving for work on my early shift at about 3:50 am. Our apartment hall lights the ones that remain on for fire safety reasons were dead. Currently I am still at work and have no idea if they have been looked into. I figured a blown fuse or something was the culprit. Afterward though about 10 minutes later my husband calls and asks me if the as I was lights were out and if I was having trouble with keys trying to get back in. I told him no as I was on orange headed to work. He did stay up for a while. Our power had flickered off for about 10 minutes and in that time he came back into our living room and noticed that our sliding glass door was open. He has had a strange ominous feeling all morning and because of this was having trouble falling back to sleep. As far as electricity to the rest of the complex.. My mom just called me freaking out. Herself my sister and kids were in their house on Rutherford ave and her someone walking upstairs in shoes plain as day. My sister also heard a man talking. Does anyone know anything about a haunted house on Rutherford ave? Or was their a graveyard or something there?.
