floored it! I could not get out of there fast enough! In my panic for some unexplainable reason I felt compelled to visually search the car while driving

as best I could. I saw nothing. In retrospect I suppose I needed to rationalize where he had gone. After all what I had just witnessed violated the rules as I understood them. Maybe he had hitched a ride? Thankfully I did not see a thing. I had seen some strange things in my time which I could not explain, but this was the first time I had come face to face with a full body apparition which interacted with me and disappeared before my eyes.
