One night while laying in bed awake I heard the sound of a train coming through not too far away. After a minute or two it even blew the whistle, but it was a higher pitched whistle than normal. I looked at my husband and asked him ''where is the closest train tracks? '' he said he was wondering that too because he just heard a train too.|
We talked the next day about how the whistle sounded. It was a little weird when we know the tracks that used
to run through here are long gone and the nearest ones are miles and miles away.|

Comment by Brittney: I lived in Sedley several years ago as well as in Black Creek. The old train track story is a good one. The supposed legend is that if you go out there on a summer night you can see a lantern dangling in thin air as if someone were running down the tracks holding up the lantern.|
I've never seen it myself but my mom has told me that she has. She also did a little acid in the 80s so that might have been the cause of that (hahaha).
This photo was taken at the Sedley 4th of July celebration, 2009. We deleted the first photo because it was covered with white images. This was my son on the playground right before the fireworks.
