One night while laying in bed awake I heard the sound of a train coming through not too far away. After a minute or two it even blew the whistle, but it was a higher pitched whistle than normal. I looked at my husband and asked him ''where is the closest train tracks? '' he said he was wondering that too because he just heard a train too. We talked the next day about how the whistle sounded. Comment by Brittney: I lived in Sedley several years ago as well as in Black Creek. The old train track story is a good one. The supposed legend is that if you go out there on a summer night you can see a lantern dangling in thin air as if someone were running down the tracks holding up the lantern. I've never seen it myself but my mom has told me that she has. She also did a little acid in the 80s so that might have been the cause of that (hahaha).
