Ok, here goes. Let me just say that I am not a huge believer in this stuff, but I have seen some odd things in and around my house that I can't explain. This may be interesting to your readers. This past spring 2018 my 16-year-old asked if she can have a fire in the fire pit in our backyard and invite some friends over. We live adjacent to the Park Creek near Hidden Pond. They took 2 pictures of the fire to send to their friends and ask them to come

over. They only realized it after some of their friends commented about the figure on the little wooden bridge in my backyard. Submitted by Stephen

Comment by Mark: My sister was one of those. Saw the pictures tonight . Very convincing !.
Comment by Preston: Depending on where your home and backyard border the park near hidden pond could possibly determine the spectral origin of your photo. The area closest to the pond and nature center itself was a farm from 1741 to the 1920s (Source is from an article in the historical society of Fairfax on the hidden history of hidden pond. The nature center has a handout on the historical aspects of the park.) Anyway there was a farm there. In addition there was another farm on the western side of the Pohick Creek over where the orange hunt neighborhood is now. I have been told there was also an old school house near where the current orange hunt pool is located. Then of course, there were likely Native Americans living along the stream and upland slopes. Your photo is quite interesting.
