When I was in my teens something really horrible happened. A young man was stalking his ex girlfriend. He chased her down one night to try and intercept her on her way home from work. They met directly in front of our house.
He side swiped her car and then proceeded to approach her on foot. He took his own life right there in the road in front of our house! I believe his name was Ray spears... (for those who need to confirm this is true.

it happened in 93-94) about a few months after his death my mother was going through the house to make sure our doors were all locked and lights were

all off. The house has pull chain lights so to turn off the lights you have to pull the chain then walk through the dark to the next room.
She turned the light off and began to walk she said that the room was absolute darkness! This is weird because there is a large day / night light right outside the house. You could have every light off and every shade close and there would still be light from that outside light...
