About 36 years ago in a wooded area in Suffolk we could see a light swaying in the darkness as young kids we were always told the story about the Suffolk Light and he was a breakman from a train that was killed and he had lost his head. Story goes that he is using the light to find his head.

And yes I did see the light in the darkness. And like all good kids ran away.

Comment by Ned: We also so the light swaying on the rail road tracks of Jackson Road. My father mother and sisters went for a ride in the ''country'' after visiting dairy queen on a hot and sultry southern tidewater night.
All of us saw the light! It scared us so much we begged our father to get us out of there. Thinking back it was pretty cool.
