When I was very young I lived on off Westminster Drive in a townhome with my family. The place was really normal. Nothing ever happened except for the super loud jets that would go right over our house. One night I couldn't sleep. I knew my parents went to sleep hours ago. I started to feel a really strange feeling and looked at my door. In the doorway a large really dark figure stood. I froze for a moment then hid under the covers. I peeked, and
nobody was there. My dad was still snoring in the other room. It still freaks me out a bit.|

Smells in Thoroughgood. I lived at the intersection of Country Club Circle and Parrish. My wife, my daughter, and upwards of a dozen of my neighbors have experienced 4 distinct smells in my house or in their own houses. The smells were of rose perfume (similar to the smell of facial powder), fresh shucked oysters, beef pot roast, and pipe tobacco. Each of these smells were about the size of a beach ball. You could poke your head in and smell. Then when you move a few feet you will not smell it at all. These odors were very potent and would arrive at any time, day or night. My wife is allergic to perfumes. We didn't have any perfumes in the house, not even store bought laundry detergent.

I live in Laurel cove right on the lake. I am aware of the alleged haunted house on the next street over from me. I have not experienced anything but joy and peace from the lake. However I did have a weird experience happen about 10 years ago just after my family moved into our home.
