There are countless stories about events in the house but that was the most activity that I witnessed.

It was not to long ago my sister and I were in my room and I have a secret door in there and we were just talking and walking out the door and all of a sudden we hear a creaking sound and the door just flew open. To this day we still experience unexplained voices and noises and just today the door flew open twice. I cannot think of my house the same anymore.

I am visiting from Colorado. And in the house on north 8th Street a woman died of natural causes in the house apparently her husband built for her and they lived in it. She pops open the cabinet doors and turns on the lights and there had been some unexplained banging too heard from the basement and not upstairs.

And I wouldn't find the cabinet thing to unusual but you have to push them in then pop them out and they are the metal ones that are hard even for me to open sometimes.

I've lived in Wytheville all my life right beside the railroad tracks and I was always told that they were haunted but I never did believe it until the night my sister and I were camping out in my backyard and we heard strange noises.
