I was told upon my visit to Pinecrest about a little boy running the halls at night either with his mom or he was looking for his mom.. Another version was that a lady would hover certain patients in the wards at the old Pinecrest hospital in the wee hours of some of the mornings that they have stay there..
I remember that one of the patients while there showed me where they creamated patients back when the hospital was a hospital for people

with tb short for tuberculois of course. My stay was just a few short hours but I intend upon visiting and actually learn as much as I can about this

Late one night in the old Pinecrest hospital in Beckley WV I saw a little boy dressed in 1920's clothes come running down the hall screaming ''leave'' so I ran to the elevator and left the building as fast as I could on the way down I heard screaming.
