My girlfriend and I camped right beside Harmon creek. One night 2 years ago we heard something coming down the trail. I turned my spot light on, and about 50 yards down the trail I saw a large orb about the size of a beach ball. I immediately charged it yelling obscenities at it. Then it kind of just backed up and vanished. Haven't had a problem since. Still camp at the same spot twice a year.
