I lived in Fort Ashby, WV in the 1960s until the mid 1970s and in the house my family bought on Rt. 28. Me and my brother were in the basement, and out of the back room where we kept the coal for the furnace came the figure of a man that chased us out of the basement into the back yard. When we looked back he was gone.
Then later on I was in bed with my parents when I saw him again in the hallway, so I buried my face in the pillow until I felt

him sit down beside me on the bed. When I looked up there was nobody there, but I could still feel the pressure of him sitting there. A bunch of us were

sitting around talking years later, and I mentioned what had happened, thinking it all had been a childhood dream. My brother said he remembered the same thing about being chased out of the basement.

There was a guy outside my window raking with his dog my mom hollered for me and when I came back he was gone but nobody was there and all the leaves were gone.
