When I was a teenager my uncle lived up on Buckhill and I always would beg him to let me spend the weekend there and he would always tell me no. Well one weekend he gave in and said yeah. Well that night he came to me and my younger brother just before bed, and told us that we were going to hear noises throughout the night, not to pay attention to it. Well me and my brother didn't sleep at all that night. We heard people walking in attic. We heard kids running through the house, and we also heard walking up and down the steps. I never stayed in that house again. Since then my uncle and his family have moved from that house.

This story refers to an older home located on South Raleigh Street in Martinsburg, WV. I will not cite the address because I don't want any trouble from the current owners/occupants. Back in the late 1990s I was doing laundry in the basement when I eye witnessed what I thought was an intruder. What I witnessed was a Caucasian man who looked totally covered in what looked like coal dust and sweat/grease from the waist up. He was shirtless. Also, the intruder was wearing old fashioned looking brown pants with a rope belt instead of a modern leather or other type of belt.
