Right outside of town in the woods right where it starts getting steep to the north of town is where I once saw a ghost when I was a kid. I was out there with a friend of mine just goofing off when we noticed a mean looking old man staring at us.
We though we were trespassing on someone's land or something so we said sorry mister we'll just leave. He didn't say a word which made us even more scared. Then his eyes suddenly turned bright red.

and I both screamed at the top of our lungs as we run out of those woods as fast as our legs could carry us. I was 12 years old so I wasn't a little kid

imagining. It was so long ago but I still have nightmares about it to this day.
