I have seen a lot of creepy things in Rivesville, well Sugarlane where I grew up in 2003-2004. One time me, my brothers, and a few friends were walking out our holla to meet a friend late at night. We started coming down Heights Hill. Half way down on the big turn a friend was on a bike with a flash light. He started to go around to turn, and I saw something out of the corner of my eye. When I looked there was a man. He kind of glowed not so

bright, but it was different from us. He had hair as white as snow, and he appeared to be wearing something like golfing clothes. We only had a few seconds

to see him. As we were staring at him, he just disappeared on the side of the road. This is just one encounter. I have had at least ten, and my friends and family have also. There is also a woman humming that I have heard out there also right by my house. Submitted by Courtnie

There is a small ice cream place in Rivesville WV, and there was recently a picture taken in it, and the picture of it was a little girl in a white dress. They are trying to find out who she is and where she came from. Well, Rivesville is an old coal mining area with old homes. Many people have died there because of black lung. Also there is a power plant there, and it is also known to be haunted from tragic incidences. People have attached to the building.
