Trans-allegheny lunatic asylum in Weston WV. This is one of the most haunted places on earth! Footsteps doors slamming shadow figures and disembodied voices fill the halls. It was declared haunted by taps in 2008 and ghost adventures in 2009.

Tala was featured on ghost hunter's Academy and paranormal challenge. It was also a chosen location for forgotten planet on discovery channel 3d. They offer daytime paranormal tours night time paranormal tours and overnight ghost hunts.

This is the kind of place that turns skeptics into believers.

In Weston west Virginia it isn't just the trans-allegheny asylum that is has a grizzly past. Not to far from it there is an old railroad tunnel too what happened is three workers were in the tunnel probably inspecting it until a frieght train came through at a speed it was not supposed to be going; the men tried to get to the cubby holes one survived the other two were not so lucky one was cut in half and the other was dragged under the train.
The tracks have been ripped up but the ghosts of the two men and the train that killed them are still seen in the tunnel.
