I was at my girlfriend's friend's house in Rayland, Oh and had to go out to my truck. The friend's 11-year-old son who suffers severe autism was taking the dog out. He says, ''There's that guy. He's always watching me.'' I figured I was going to have a word with this guy and see what was going on.
I looked around not seeing anyone on the street, but I noticed about 200 yards away what appeared to be an impossibly tall man in a trench coat and Fedora.

He was looking down enough where his face was obscured by shadow. ''What a creepy thing to have in your yard,'' I thought and continued to stare at it

studying it. I finally went to the truck and grabbed my girlfriend's sweater. Then I walked the boy and his dog in only glancing at the strange scarecrow.
About ten to twenty minutes later as we were leaving, I said, ''Look at this scare crow out here. It's creepy as hell.'' When I went to point it out, nothing was there. My blood went cold. My girlfriend suggested maybe it was some kids playing a prank, but it didn't ring true because whatever I was looking
