The Fulton Springs Road railroad crossing is haunted. A car was hit by a train there long ago. Sometimes if you go there you can hear the sound of a car being hit by a train. You turn your head and you catch a glimpse of it. I saw it once and let me tell you it was freaky to say the least. I saw a car being smashed by nothing. After a fraction of a second the vision was gone. I can't erase it from my mind though. I keep thinking of those poor people

in the car. It's not cool in any way. It's very horrible but it is true. Submitted by anonymous

The black phantom: this ghost occupies a wooded area behind and old abandoned cotton mill in Alabaster, AL. The mill is called Buck Creek cotton mill. This phantom comes out during the evening hours and at night and tends to follow any travelers that hike through that part of the woods. It has never made any contact other that following so I don't believe it's menacing but it is scary. Submitted by Alex
Comment by anonymous: The Buck Creek cotton mill was the site of an unexplained and only vaguely documented haunting prior to being torn down, so it seems reasonable that the two are related.
