We were headed to church at Douglas. My daughter was driving. We picked up a man walking with his Bible. It was raining. He never spoke just pointed to 2nd Baptist church. He got out. We turned to look. He was gone.

My car broke down on Brown Street once at night. It was about 500 yards from 11th Avenue. I pulled over away from the curve and was waiting for my husband to come get me. The road was empty, but I wasn't scared because I am familiar with the area.

Then there was an old Dodge driving past me, and the driver made a u-turn and came toward me. It was an old man. He didn't pull over but was slowing down. He didn't say a word but smiled at me gently.

He nodded as if to let me know I would be fine. I reached out to get me phone because I wanted to make sure my husband was coming soon. I looked back, and the car and the old man was gone. Thinking back I do not remember hearing the engine of that car at all.
I should have, but no there was no sound. I wonder who he is.
