About nine years ago in 2003 I turned left off of Jefferson St. onto market St. I noticed a little girl playing on the steps of the church which is first Christian Church. She looked at me and I waved at her.

She did not wave but she curtsied instead. I found that strange. Also her clothes was not of this era. . It did not dawn on me until I got past the Athens pharmacy that I had just seen a ghost.

I live on Sanders St. About 3 minutes from down town Athens. I don't know the history of the house but I believe we have a ghost. Things move without apparent reason and there are times when the dog will not go in the hall to retrieve his ball or toy.
Other times he will stand looking in the hall barking as if there's someone.

Comment by Sebrina: I lived on Sanders in the 1990s. When my ex-husband was working 3rds, I always heard footsteps and creaking sounds. I sometimes saw an old man in the house too.
