This happened in Hueytown not far from Bessemer. One house down from my father-in-law four people were murdered one being a friend of mine. They were murdered by one of the girls ex- boyfriend. Two years before that happened the owners wife committed suicide.
The man rents it out and no one stays longer than a month. One guy said he went to the store and when he got back his computer chair was in front of the door.
