I have lived where the old Bellingrath Plantation is and my mother has told me of all the times she's seen an old slave out in the pecan orchard in the middle of the night. You can see him and his lantern walking across the field.
I have been there my whole life and I still speed down the road at night even though the ghost has always been harmless.

We are 2 sisters who are currently living where the Indian chief is buried, he seems quite harmless even though he loves 2 play with your head and grab at you. We were positively speechless when we saw him the first time and hearing some1 else's experience was a bit of a wake-up call....

Around my house, I've seen several spirits. The most notable looks like that of an old southern farmer or of a rural resident back in times of old. He's harmless, but he'll stare at you or walk near you which can be unsettling at times. I have seen him at least 3 times now. .
