I have lived in Eufaula for most of my life (save for my early years in Texas) and have grown to love this little town. A few years ago my brother had a friend down from Virginia, and we all decided to go off to a creepy house by my mom's work place called ''the Old Shorter Mansion''. We hadn't heard anything necessarily scary about the place, but we figured it would be creepy and cool to go explore it after dusk.
I'm not a believer of the paranormal,

but while we were there I had an uneasy feeling the whole time feeling as if something was going to happen not deadly jus frightening. However, we took
|
some pictures in the old cemetery behind it and decided to walk down by a slope that preceded a massive train bridge. As we made our way down the short slope, something started moving in the bushes then stopped.
We all looked at each other, and we being young laughed it off. About 20 seconds later a massive creature started rising from the bush. My brother's friend booked it out, and me and my brother and closed to follow.
